Cacioppo Crew Getting ready for Open House 2025!!! We explored some different math activities. This game required us to roll dice, add the numbers, then multiply by a specific number. The goal was to get 6 in a row! We used our brainstorming web to help us elaborate on details about ourselves for our self-portrait writing. We talked about how we can use tools to organize our ideas and to help us elaborate. Me Bag Time! The kids were asked to bring in a few items from home to share with the class so we can learn more about one another and build connections. Morning Break FUN! Earlier in the week, we worked on identifying the central idea of a section of text. We learned that the central idea is what the text is mostly about. We also worked to identify 3 examples from the text to support that central idea. We dove into our next Book Club Books! We will use these books to help us work on identifying how a character changes and point of view! Mr. Wu's Shop of Curiosities Benito's Goal To Stand Forever We learned how to play a new game called "Related Numbers." We had to find factors for a given number. We used the numbers we selected to add to our score. We worked with partners to determine the Author's Purpose in the story Flora and Ulysses. In Science, we learned about volcanic and earthquake hazards. We will be taking this information to help us construct a building that can withstand a small earthquake! Meet the 4th Grade Team: Mrs. Johnson, Mr. McCulloch, Mrs. Kraus, and Mrs. C We listened to the story First Day Jitters before dismissal. We wrote down 3 things about ourselves on a sheet of paper and had a snowball fight. We read the 3 clues and had to guess who it was in our class! Morning break fun with the rest of 4th grade.
