Regions, Buddies, and Thinking Classroom!

 Region Presentations

The final groups presented their region information to the class.

The projects were posted on Seesaw. Be sure to check them out!

We used our fraction cubes to help us determine equivalent fractions.
The kids are doing a fantastic job showing their thinking with fraction strips, number lines, and numbers/words. Way to go!

Buddies!
We had fun doing a fall activity with our first grade buddies.
More pictures will be posted soon.

Thinking Classroom Activity:
My heart is full after completing this activity with the class.
I am so proud of them for working together to solve these math challenges.
Dr. Lombardo and Mrs. Primack came down to check out our activity!

In our feedback form, several students commented on how they liked the challenge and that it was hard, liked working with other kids, and liked trying different strategies.

For the challenging part, they noted that it was hard and that they didn't like having to start over to solve.

They also begged me to do more of these in the future!

Congratulation to our Kindness and Grit award recipients.
