Building Structures, Book Clubs, and Going Back in the Text

We are building rectangles to help us understand area and factor pairs. We went back in the text to help us with our collaborative discussion questions.   ' We are learning how to apply our skills in class with our own book club books. This week we focused on characters, literary elements, and point of view. We also wrote a retell of our book and posted it on Seesaw. Congratulations to our Kindness and Grit Award Recipients!

Earthquake Experiments, Research, and Buddies!!!

Exploring some books in the LMC. Researching building structures for our upcoming science experiment. Experimenting with 10 sec, 20 sec, and 30 sec earthquakes to determine safer locations for building. Recapping our Book Club reading so far with the class. We met our first grade buddies from Mrs. Farley's class!  Congratulations to our Kindness and Grit Award Recipients!
